The “Especially for Everyone” brand platform ran for over three years while representing a non-tiered banking system that treated everyone like a VIP. The new Cashback Debit Card was the most successful product launch in the brand’s 37 year history. There was also a Super Bowl ad that reached 210 million viewers worldwide. It was so successful that Capital One decided to acquire Discover for an unprecedented $35.3 billion in an all stock deal. Not to shabby for the first time the brand had ever used a celebrity.
